Chinese Company Acquires Flying Car Technology

A Chinese company has acquired the technology behind a flying car that was developed and successfully tested in Europe. The European-designed vehicle will be used and developed in “specific geographical areas” in China. In addition to becoming a leader in electric vehicle development, China will also provide revolutionary technology in the field of flying cars.

The Guangzhou-based Hebei Jianzhen Flying Car Technology Company has acquired exclusive manufacturing and usage rights for the AirCar flying car, developed in Europe, for an undisclosed area in China.

Progress in Flying Transportation in China

In addition to leading the electric vehicle revolution, China is also actively developing flying transportation solutions. Last month, a company named Autoflight conducted a test flight of a passenger drone between Shenzhen and Zhuhai. This journey, which usually takes three hours, was completed in just twenty minutes without any passengers on board.

Breakthrough in Electric Flying Taxis

In 2023, Chinese company EHang’s electric flying taxi received official safety certification in China, prompting the UK government to suggest that flying taxis could become a regular part of the skies by 2028.
